Elliot, you can sulk all you want. But you know you missed me.

Hey, I'm surprised I lasted as long as I did. I had a nice break, but who am I kidding? It's time to get back to work.

I'm not sure how often I'll be up to posting in this journal. Since I took the position at CPU, I'm swamped in contaminated hard drives and hidden or deleted file recoveries. At the end of the night, I'm kind of burned out on computers.

So this transition is going to be difficult. I think I'm making the right decision, not only for Elliot, but for myself. The last handful of cases have effected me in a way that I never expected. Honestly, I'm exhausted. I think you can only do the same thing for so long.

I'm going to miss the squad, but I have a feeling that we'll all see each other around.

I've made a big decision. I'll tell you all about it when I have a little more time.

I set out for a coffee run and ended up spending the entire day in Central Park. There was a big Easter Egg Hunt, and so many kids turned out. You should have seen them; turning over leaves, looking under rocks. They really scaled the whole park. If only CSU were so meticulous.

This past case has shaken us all up. Some things are going to change because they have to.
